To address the growing demands of informatization projects and marketing information systems, as well as the increasing shortage of equipment rack space in its existing data center, Hubei Electric Power Company repurposed a former vehicle repair workshop at the Electric Power Research Institute (located east of Huadianxiaolu, Xudong Avenue) into a new information technology facility. Serving as the core data center for deploying hardware infrastructure of the company’s information systems, this project also marked the first deployment of a 500 kVA high-capacity UPS system within the organization.

Our company was entrusted with the comprehensive implementation of this critical infrastructure. Our scope of work included the transportation, precise positioning, and installation of key equipment—including the 500 kVA UPS, UPS input and output cabinets, battery banks, UPS DC cabinets, and precision row-based power distribution units—as well as the interior renovation of both the battery room and the main data center, encompassing flooring and wall finishes.
