PDU (Power Distribution Unit) is the terminal power distribution socket installed on the rear stand column of the cabinet. It distributes power transmitted from row-level distribution cabinets or intelligent busbars to each server in the rack.

Construction Standards:

Execution Standard: GB50462-2024, IEC Standards

Firm installation: Horizontally mounted PDUs occupy specific U units and are fixed by bolts; vertically mounted PDUs shall match the cabinet side mounting hole spacing and be fully locked

Power matching: The rated power of PDU shall not be lower than the total load of upstream circuit breakers and connected equipment

Termination requirements::

Input cables shall be firmly crimped through industrial connectors or terminal blocks

Output plugs shall be fully inserted; universal multi-hole sockets are forbidden

When connecting high-voltage DC PDU power cables, the power switch shall be turned OFF, and ESD wrist straps shall be worn

Cable binding: Power cables shall be bound from bottom to top with cable ties every about 250mm and fixed on the cabinet

Anti-drop measure: PDUs with anti-drop devices or cable tie fixing for plugs shall be adopted for high-density deployment
